Our service can and does save lives
Simone manages our alert and response team who monitor alerts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week supporting people to live independently.
"I manage the alert and response team who install telecare in customers’ homes, monitor alerts from personal alarms and visit people’s homes who need help or lifting after a fall.
On average, each month the team receives 11,000 calls and completes around 55 home installs. We’re the only service in Trafford with a falls lifting service, completing around 40 lifts every month, preventing call outs from the ambulance service.
For me, the most rewarding part is hearing feedback from customers. Every day I speak to people who are very grateful for the service they receive, commenting on how easy our products are to use and the friendly manner of our staff. I’ve also been thanked by customers for my calm and patient nature and way of explaining things simply in a way then can understand.
The best thing about my job is that I work in a team that can and does saves lives and offers family and carers that extra security for their loved ones."
